HEY!!! So I finally got a hold of some pics from my first show in Las Vegas. I'll hopefully be getting the actual pieces sometime in 2011 and get better pics of the finished pieces. My name looks awesome on the wall. just sayin.

No joke, i saw this in a dream. totally gonna turn it into a huge painting. Paint shopping tomorrow for these colors!

Life Comes in Pairs - Outlines

These are the outlines in ink for my pieces "Life Comes in Pairs" A show I did in Las Vegas, NV at Blackbird Studios (formerly Place Gallery). I showed on 9/3/10 and it was my first show. I was very hapy with the turn out and I'm thankful to have been lucky enough to show with great people and enjoy it with amazing friends.

Titles of each peice from top to bottom:

Waking to Her Love - Love

Lone Wolf, Lone Girl - Hate

A Life to Ponder - Life

Death Lives in a Snake Pit - Death

Wasted Years - War

Adrift at Peace - Peace

The themes range in 6 basic pairs that are essential in life, whether it be all internal on a personal level or external on a more global level. Symolism of animals, flowers and plants all coinside with each peice. More pictures to come.

WIP Preview I

This is what I've been working on for the past months. These are 2 out of the 6 I've done. They're all 15 X 20.

Frida Y Sus Rosas

A portrait of Frida Kahlo in a semi 'Dia De Los Muertos' face paint. The yellow-ish outlines around the roses are supposed to be gold, but the camera made it look yellow :/

I thought I posted this long ago, but now is better than never. Lawrence Goodwin, pen name of my very good friend David Small (who was also in a project called Social Blonde Hair). This is a book design I helped create with the direction of Dave, of course. I own a copy, and I'm not sure if he still has it for sale online somewhere.
